Cherry Hill, NJ – Private duty home care operators Assisted Living at Home and Home to Stay Health Care Solutions recently merged to create Home to Stay, LLC. The agency is now one of the largest independent owner-operated caregiver companies serving seniors and individuals with disabilities in South Jersey. Headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, Home to Stay provides specialized 24 hour live-in home care, dementia services as well as hourly care to a population traditionally thought of as assisted living or nursing home residents.
The merger combines and broadens the Home to Stay caregiver expertise that addresses concerns of seniors wanting to age in place, home care affordability when compared to long-term care options, and the Sandwich Generation seeking respite care for elderly family members.
Unique to Home to Stay is its AlzBetter program, a revolutionary in-home program specifically designed to assist seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. The program was developed in association with international dementia experts such as Kerry Mills, owner of Engaging Alzheimer’s LLC, developers of care strategies specific to the diagnosed person.
“Our knowledge of behavioral best practices and comprehensive family educational component puts us in the forefront of live-in dementia care expertise”, said Home to Stay’s Director Gary Skole, founder of Assisted Living at Home.
The senior population shows no signs of slowing down. More than 10,000 baby boomers will reach 65 every day for 19 years since the first baby boomer turned 65 January 2, 2011. And the 85-and-over US population is the fastest growing segment in the country, projected to rise from 5.8 million today to 19 million in 2050.
“Our ability to act independently as owner-operators provides our clients and their families personalized care that goes above and beyond typical industry standards”, said Managing Partner, Andrew Dubler, founder of Home to Stay Health Care Solutions.
“In a relatively new industry, our team of veterans has over 50 years of combined homecare expertise. Along with our staff of highly trained caregivers, Home to Stay prolongs and improves an individual’s independence within the most favorable and least restrictive environment of his or her own home,” said Dubler
Home to Stay serves Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Ocean, Mercer, Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
Home to Stay Senior Care Solutions is owned and operated by the Dubler and Skole Families and was started because of experiences they had with their own Families. In one situation Mom was living alone and had a fall. It was not until this fall that the family realized they were unprepared.
When it was time for their Mom to come home, she needed companion and personal care to assist her and prevent another accident. Like most people in this situation, they were confused and did not know where to go for help. It was this life-changing experience that lead to starting a home care company that is focused on enabling those who wish to stay at home and age in place.
